HIV/AIDS

Legal Aid offers comprehensive legal services and representation to low-income residents of Broward County living with HIV. Our HIV Law Project is a Ryan White-funded legal advocacy program offering representation for eligible clients in the following areas:

• Broward County resident
• Household income cannot exceed 300% of the federal poverty level (FPL)
• Documentation of HIV status

Prior to receiving legal assistance, clients must be current with their Ryan White Part A eligibility. Contact the Centralized Intake and Eligibility (CIED) program at 954-566-1417 for more information and to become eligible for all County Ryan White services, including legal services.

• Eligibility documentation is required. Immediate or walk-in appointments are not available
• In extraordinary circumstances home or hospital visits can be arranged
