Legal Aid Service of Broward County (LAS) provides free civil legal services to low-income eligible residents of Broward County. Our mission is to provide high quality free civil legal advice, representation, and education to those in our community who cannot afford it.

Fellowships play a critical role in developing and training young attorneys. LAS Fellows help us provide integrated service strategies that are responsive to our community’s needs.
Paralegal and student volunteers play a crucial role in supporting Legal Aid’s mission of providing free legal assistance to those in our community who cannot afford it. While volunteer work is unpaid, volunteers gather valuable experience while supporting activities that ultimately help our community.
